  • Run the speed test with a direct connection to the modem.
  • Run the speed test again with a direct connection to the modem while running in safe mode.
  • Update your Antivirus software and run a complete system scan.
  • Update your Spyware removal software and run a complete system scan.
  • Install Windows Updates.
