Website Access Problem

These instructions are for customers who had changed their MTU size to 1465 to workaround a partial system outage. While not required, if you would like to change your computer setting back follow the steps outlined below.

Windows users:
The third party Dr. TCP software can be used to change the MTU setting.

• Download it from http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe
• Run the utility.
• In the Adapter Settings pull down, select the Ethernet adapter used to connect with the network.
• In the MTU box, type 1500.
• Click Save.
• Click Exit.
• Restart the computer.

Mac users:

• Click on the System Preferences Doc Icon (The one with the light switch) or select System Preferences from the logo in the top left of your screen.
• Under Internet and Network Click on the Network Icon
• Select Built-in Ethernet from the Show dropdown menu
• Click on the Ethernet Tab
• Change Configure to Manually (Advanced)
• Click on Custom under Maximum Packet Size (MTU)
• Enter 1500 in the text box
• Click on Apply Now
• Close the network window.
That's all, no reboot required!
